Who we are?

IDENTITY, Health & Education Development Organization (HEDO) is a non-profit making, volunteer and non-Governmental organization based in Faisalabad (PAKISTAN). Faisalabad is the third biggest city of Pakistan with the total population of 1.9 m and also known as the Manchester of Pakistan. It is also termed as the proud home of textile industries and surrounded by villages. It is connected by all means of communication. It is at distance of 375kms from Islamabad the capital of Pakistan

Aims and Objectives:

Ø      To help the people for their own identification

Ø      To help the people change their own unsatisfactory situation

Ø      To help the people to train themselves for their own development

Ø      To help the people to find their own resources rather to find first external resources for their development

Approach and Methodology Adopted in Decision Making

Ø       Selection of the working areas by visits, baseline survey, and by the existed documents

Awareness (micro and macro)/animation program with the following objectives:

Ø      Situation analysis by discussing their social, cultural, economic, religious and  political circumstances by dialogues, group meetings and case studies

Ø      Problems identification and ranking of the problems

Ø      Need analysis (Justification, participant’s resources, planning and implementing schedule)

Ø      Follow-up (To know the sustainability of the interest, renovations and more  planning)

Ø      Implementation of the proposed project with the participation of local   representation

Ø       Attempts to sustain the projects as the programs 

Target Communities:

Ø      Deprived, disadvantaged, neglected and underdeveloped community irrespective of race, religion, caste, color, creed, sex, and denomination, social and economic status is the main target group of HEDO.
